SYP
2X4 and 2×6 widths were stand outs this week as both increased $10/mbf each. This was especially seen in #2 grade in particular as #1s in these widths only took on a $5/mbf increase.
2x10s increased $5/mbf.
2x8s and 12s did not move.
It is likely that we will see another two to three weeks of small increases in SYP.
Low grades are only going up around $5/mbf but we have seen prices become very tight the past two weeks. Grades #3 and #4 have not had a decrease since September and prices continue to stay on a slow trajectory upward. Quotes are very spotty for mixed truckloads and some mills may have the tally and others may not.
SPF
SPF did not change in pricing this week which could be a sign that prices are as low as they will get for the winter.
Prices have decreased for six weeks straight now. This may be a great time to stock up for the winter in Spruce as prices are currently the lowest they have been all year. In fact, prices are right where they were this time last year.

OSB
Another week of no price change in OSB. West Fraser announced another production cut back for the spring of 2026. This along with less buyers opting into contracts for 2026 will inevitably lend to price increases; but we may not see them until further out into 2026.
